Excellent selection for the home garden. Slightly tapered reddish-orange roots average 15-20cm (6-8in) in length with a wonderful crisp sweet taste. High water content makes Kuroda a superb choice for juicing. Great storage carrot. Matures in 72 days.

Sow seed in a sunny site with well prepared light soil after the soil temperature rises above 7.5C (45F). Germination can take from 14-21 days. Keep seedbeds evenly moist and avoid crusting over soil during the germination period. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizer.
